The Passport can be had for up to 72" Lifting height and is made of all aluminum and extremely corrosion resistant and durable. The trus-T-Lift is also very simple and durable and has a coastal package option to prevent corrosion, the Trust-T-Lifts are made out of 22 gauge steel, then they apply an additional clear coat layer to the unit and put it through their powder coating facility three times.
These lifts can be had in heights up to 14'. In our experience these are the very best brands on the market when it comes to coastal applications such as Bluffton, Hilton Head Island, Beaufort and other surrounding Islands.
The Trus-T-Lift is especially usefull in sandy beach areas, other brands have a moving "safety platform" that can get dirty, have sand in them and fail quite quickly. The Trus-T-Lift features an see through platform whic is safe and very durable on nothing to go wrong. In addition, if there is a potential of flooding, all the electronics and motor are in the top of the tower and won't get wet. The lift can stay at the top to stay out of a wet area as well if needed and can be called down by a control at the bottom floor and there is a call station at the top floor.
All-aluminum Structure: The PASSPORT is made using aircraft-quality aluminum and is built to withstand the rigors of repeated use and outdoor elements – will not rust or corrode. The architectural panels are not powder coated or painted so there’s no need to worry about touch-ups. Aluminum construction provides maximum strength (750 lb. weight capacity) and durability, yet is lighter than steel.
Other options are available, everything can be locked for unauthorized use as well if you are away.
